W Brisbane is taking you on a European Endless Summer

W Brisbane bring us an endless summer right here in our own backyard, with their WET deck transporting southern Italy to you.

The past few months’ wet weather has had us dreaming of an endless European summer, tasting our way through Southern Italy and enjoying some delicious foods and tipple on a few spritz’s.

Unfortunately, we can’t make the trip, but the good people at the W Brisbane bring us an endless summer right here in our own backyard, with their WET deck transporting southern Italy to you.

Every Thursday to Sunday until the 3rd of May, they will be serving up a slice of everyone’s favourite holiday destination inviting locals and interstate guests to sip on an Aperol Spritz from its riverside location, igniting some seriously Mediterranean summer vibes.

“Whilst international travel is still off the cards, we hope an Endless Summer will momentarily transport guests to another time and place, giving them a glimpse of what is to come”, said Laura Sharrad.

Inspired by the sea, delicious bites will include Hand-Picked Mud Crab & Pickled Cucumber Fingers and the decadent Gnocco Fritto with Whipped Cod Roe. Laura Sharrad [ of Masterchef Fame ] has curated a menu that heroes Queensland’s fresh seasonal produce, “we’re so fortunate to have such beautiful summer ingredients still in season. Fresh local seafood and berries are quintessentially summer, and I have naturally featured them in the menu for an Endless Summer”.

For drinks, Insta-worthy cocktails from the lord of the Spritz, including the refreshing Aperol Spritz, have been created to pair perfectly with the dishes to set the scene. A fresh and bold combination of Campari & Blood Orange Granita with Yoghurt Gelato will be a sweet dream to cleanse the palette.

With umbrellas and sun lounges for guests to sit back, relax and sip on an Aperol Spritz. Styled to the nines, including oranges and lemons oozing from their baskets, olive trees, and postcard inspired menus will be reminiscent of the cobblestone streets of Italy.
